Major Content Additions
Patch 7.35 introduces significant new content to Final Fantasy Xiv, including the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds crossover duty, the new deep dungeon Pilgrim's Traverse, Yok Huy society quests, and Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures. These additions provide substantial new gameplay opportunities for players at various progression levels.

The Monster Hunter Wilds crossover represents a major collaborative event, bringing iconic elements from Capcom's franchise into the world of Eorzea. This duty offers unique mechanics and rewards that blend both game universes.
Yok Huy Allied Society
The Yok Huy allied society introduces a new reputation system with both main story quests and daily quests. Players can accept up to three daily quests per Earth day after completing the initial main quest "Frosty Neighbors." These quests employ an automatic level adjustment system that matches difficulty to the player's current class level.
Reputation gains through daily quest completion unlock further main quests and provide Yok Huy wards as currency. These wards can be exchanged with Yok Huy vendors for various items. Crafters participating in these quests receive all necessary materials, with required recipes available under the Special Recipes tab of the Crafting Log, though players must provide their own catalysts.
Windward Wilds Content

The Windward Wilds duty provides players with Veldian weapon coffers upon completion. Players can also obtain Guardian scales by carving them from Guardian Arkveld's hide. These scales can be exchanged for weapons and items at the smithy in Tuliyollal (X:13.2 Y:13.0) after completing the quest "The White Wanderer."
The extreme version of this content, Windward Wilds (Extreme), is accessible only through the Raid Finder and does not apply item level restrictions or role requirements when registering as a full party. Completion rewards include Veldian weapon coffers, two Guardian Arkveld certificates, and additional Guardian scales. These certificates are required to enhance Veldian weapons at the Tuliyollal smithy.
Pilgrim's Traverse Deep Dungeon

Pilgrim's Traverse represents the latest deep dungeon addition, challenging parties of one to four players with procedurally generated landscapes filled with traps, monsters, and environmental hazards. All players enter at level 91 and can progress to level 100 within the dungeon's independent leveling system.
Access to Pilgrim's Traverse is granted by speaking with Vanthau in Il Mheg (X:29.9 Y:6.0). Players can choose between fixed parties or matched parties through the Duty Finder system. Fixed parties require all members to be in Il Mheg and maintain uniform save data for progression resumption.
The dungeon features a unique aetherpool gear system that replaces normal equipment, with gear strength increasing through silver coffer openings, boss defeats from stone 30 onward, and completion of the dungeon. Aetherpool gear can be enhanced to a maximum strength of +99.
Deep Dungeon Mechanics
Pilgrim's Traverse incorporates several specialized mechanics including pylons of passage that require enemy defeats to activate, various treasure coffers (bronze, silver, and gold) containing different rewards, and pomanders that provide temporary buffs and advantages. The dungeon also features votive candelabras that affect subsequent areas when lit, potentially providing benefits or additional challenges.
Players can discover the Accursed Hoard, hidden treasure that becomes visible through specific pomanders. These treasures can be appraised by Tyr Marn in Il Mheg (X:29.9 Y:5.9) for mounts, fashion accessories, and other rare items.
Endgame Challenges
After reaching stone 99 of Pilgrim's Traverse, players unlock the Final Verse, a boss encounter identical to the stone 99 fight. This duty requires aetherpool gear strength of +94 or above for matched parties and automatically adjusts player levels to 100 upon entry.
The Final Verse (Quantum) presents an additional challenge with dynamic difficulty scaling based on sacramental offerings. Players must use between 15 and 40 offerings of five different types, with boss behavior and mechanics changing based on the quantity and combination used. This system provides proportional rewards based on the number of offerings consumed.

PvP Season Transition
Season Sixteen of PvP content concludes with the top 300 ranking players from North American, European, and Japanese data centers, along with the top 100 from Oceanian data centers, receiving vouchers via moogle delivery. Players finishing in Bronze tier or higher can claim rewards from the Seasonal Quartermaster at Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:5.7).
Season Seventeen will begin with players starting five risers lower than their Season Sixteen finishing rank. Rising Stars reset to one, while players who finished in Omega or Ultima tiers begin in Crystal tier with 100 Crystal Credit. Unranked players or those at Bronze 3 with zero Rising Stars do not receive ranking resets.
Progression and Rewards
Completion of Pilgrim's Traverse objectives in the challenge log provides phials of luminous oil or pieces of the Blessed Hoard. Luminous oil can be traded to Ose Wyd in Il Mheg (X:29.9 Y:5.9) for various items, while Blessed Hoard pieces can be appraised for First Light relics and other rewards.
Players who complete the sidequest "Faerie Tale," unlocked after clearing stone 30 of Pilgrim's Traverse, gain access to special weapons and the ability to start from specific traverse stones with level 100 characters and cleared inventories.
Fixed parties receive aggregate scores based on monsters slain, coffers opened, furthest area reached, and completion time. These scores are recorded separately for solo and party play, with rankings displayed for each data center beyond stone 30.
